A Legacy We Share

Slide to discover

At the House of Alba, we have a purpose that guides every decision we make: to maintain, preserve, and disseminate our legacy. A cultural legacy composed primarily of three palaces that house unique artistic content, the result of more than five centuries of evolution.

In 2016, my father, the 19th Duke of Alba, took the initiative to open the palaces of the House to cultural visits. He thus shares their artistic content with thousands of curious visitors, scholars, and lovers of history and culture from around the world, while also caring for and preserving these works of art.

In 2019, we merged Alba Fine Food with Casa de Alba, allowing it to embrace our values and core mission of contributing to the preservation of our heritage. Through Casa de Alba Fine Food, we highlight and share another part of the Casa that, although lesser-known, is a fundamental pillar of our history: the countryside.

Our Oils

Casa de Alba olive oils come from our estates in El Carpio (Córdoba), which have been part of the Casa de Alba since 1325. These are where our olive groves are located, encompassing all kinds of cultivation techniques. Of particular note is El Mugronal, our oldest and most special olive plot. The year of origin is still unknown, but we are certain its age is measured in centuries. We are constantly researching the Casa de Alba archives to uncover fascinating details like this and share them with all of you.

Our Iberian products

Our 100% Iberian pigs roam free in the pastures of Salamanca, and during the montanera period, they enjoy the finest acorns on farms that have been linked to the House of Alba for centuries. We have a very close relationship with the farms of Castile and León, as they are located around Alba de Tormes, the birthplace of the House of Alba.

We start from this extraordinary raw material when focusing on the artisanal production and drying of the Iberian products we offer you. 100% Iberian acorn-fed products that acquire superior quality and a spectacular flavor.
